In describing what is to come regarding a great outpouring of His Spirit, He reminded me of the sweeping changes it would bring. He said from east to west and north to south across the entire globe that there would be an outpouring. He said it would be a revolution and not a temporary awakening that comes and goes for a season. He showed me that this revolution would permanently change the future just like when we went from horse and buggy to automobiles, to planes and to space faring rocket ships. It’s like going from the first printing press to instant communication through the airwaves. This will change everything we do and there will be no going back. I imagined what happened at the Azusa Street outpouring with incredible miracles. This is what we will see and more and it will be hard to ignore by the whole world of believers and nonbelievers. Great historical changes ahead.
I saw in a vision a key going into a lock. I could see the pins inside falling into to place on the key notches. I felt like He was saying things are falling into place that cannot be stopped. He showed me a train and said that though it appeared to be going slow, that it was building up an unstoppable, tremendous momentum. That is us now. The outpouring and us caught up in it is certain.
In light of His continued iteration of amazing things to come, I have asked for the timing of it again and again. I always get assurance we are in the pike, but I never get the timing or a date. So I have asked for some kind of sign or down payment and He pointed out that I had unbelief and that I wanted help for my unbelief. So this is a position many of us are in. I believe, but when will all this happen? He continues to remind us from various words here and there or in our hearts. Like a child on a trip asks, “Are we there yet”? The parent says, “No, but almost.” This may repeat again and again. He says, “Almost there.”
